World Cup 2010 PS3

In anticipation of the FIFA 2010 World Cup, Electronic Arts, Inc. (EA) reports remarkable sales of its stellar World Cup 2010 PS3 game.  The statistics are almost as impressive as the game itself, although nothing can match the hands-on thrills, flexibility and strategical opportunities the game provides.

With close to one million online players already enjoying Playstation 3, it is no coincidence that World Cup 2010 PS3 game was chosen sports game of the year by the Academy of Interactive and Sciences (AIAS).  The AIAS has offered awards in various categories since 1996.  EA sports games have received more than 50 AIAS awards since inception.

World Cup 2010 PS3 is so popular that more than 775,000 participated in the PlayStation Network’s first version of the World Cup tournament.  Stage One of the competition ran from October 2009 through December 2009 with Stage Two running from January 2010 through April 2010.  Bruce Gannec of France is the defending champion.

The FIFA 10 Ultimate Team, a popular add-on, is a new mode; further enhancing the World Cup 2010 PS3 version, EA’s fastest selling sports game.

With 1.7 million PS3 units already sold, players can find competition around the corner or around the globe.  Fourth quarter sales in Europe surpassed all expectations.  The game was released in North America just after the European release.

EA expects to initiate new tournaments on a regular basis.  Players can build their Ultimate Teams from a wide variety of the greatest football players on the planet.  Put your personal trademark on your team and draw from more teams and players than ever before.

World Cup 2010 PS3 rewards improved dribbling skills, has more realistic graphics and is highly responsive to every move.  Users will find increased header efficiency as the on-field players can make much more realistic and prolonged runs that will challenge defenders to maintain proper positioning and improve tackling skills.

If you choose to play against the computer, beware.  The level of play is not repetitive and computer play has stepped up in intensity.  Users will be forced to throw their bad habits away.

The stadium settings are worthy of the World Cup with the winning team treated to a passionate display from adoring fans.  Users may choose to battle the computer, select their favorite country and play Xbox live or enter the highly competitive Playstation Network to find a game or tourney.  Whatever your preference, World Cup 2010 on PS3 will offer you an opportunity to compete on any level at any time of the day or night.

Teams have been assigned point ratings according to their World Cup standings.  In essence, this provides a degree of difficulty for players competing against the computer.

Users have provided positive feedback about the World Cup 2010 PS3 game compared to earlier versions, specifically citing the depth of choices, the enhanced visual affects and the more realistic natural lighting as well as improved images of actual players.  The sharpness of the surface has also been improved thus increasing the aesthetic reward of the game.

If you are a soccer fan, your adrenalin is already pumping.  For those of us that cannot get to South Africa, you can get your thrills in many ways with World Cup 2010 PS3.
